A variety of reasons for the 5 stars. Alyssa’s makeup and tools were clean (an obvious requirement). She listened to what look I was going for and we discussed what would look best for photographing, she is very knowledgeable. An overlooked and very important element in my opinion is her personality. I mean it’s a lot of pressure- you’re the bride and even though you try to set everything up ahead of time you still have an annoying aunt who tries to bother you or a bridesmaid who is already drunk… Alyssa is chill and has a calm demeanor that when you vent to her through the side of your mouth while she does your makeup, she’s like a makeup artist AND a therapist....read full review

Alyssa did mine and my bridesmaid’s makeup for my wedding and was wonderful to work with! I loved my makeup from my trial and we only made a minor addition to my wedding day glam and she nailed it! I’d highly recommend Alyssa and would use her again if I ever need my makeup done professionally

Alyssa was amazing! I used her for my wedding reception. I wanted makeup that looked glowy and natural, but that would stay for the whole night ((not just pictures). The airbrush was flawless and everything stayed the whole night through humidity, and hours of dancing! The makeup felt light, but also looked so beautiful and was exactly what I asked for. Would recommend her for any event.
