I am deeply grateful for my experience at Charak Health and Wellness of Mentor. I've been to many other mental health agencies and have been extremely dissatisfied with my level of care and the way I have been treated. However, at Charak, they focus more on treating your symptoms rather than constant discussion of putting labels on you and making you feel insecure or bad about your mental state. Dr. Anikeev has completely turned me around from the inside out by being so kind hearted, attentive, understanding, and reassuring. He refills my medications on time and is very reliable. I'm going to be so sad when he retires.
I've been in treatment at Charak Center for about six months. I have very mixed feelings. I feel I was extremely lucky with my therapist. I have heard from friends who've done therapy in general who had to try multiple therapists before finding someone compatible, and Michelle Lanzi, who was who I was assigned when I started, was wonderful to work with and I'm genuinely frustrated that I was essentially forced out of Therapy services with her. I was informed at my last appointment that as of October they are no longer offering telehealth. Very helpful. Thanks to the staff there for helping me submit the right paperwork to the va to secure my disability claim. Stephen Roos was unstoppable and relentless in his mission to help get me taken care of and get everyone's ducks in a row when the ducks were not focused, willing, or able to do anything to help.
