I appreciate Dr. Monroe as a doctor. She is very thorough and has a great patient rapport. However, trying to call there to talk to someone is very difficult. You get caught up in long wait times and then have to leave a message for a call back for a simple question. I'm headed to cataract surgery and I hear good things about Dr. Mane. Hoping for a positive experience in their Cataract Institute.

As a new diabetic, I need to have annual diabetic eye exams. The Lenscrafter eye exam center that I had been using no longer had a physician acceptable by my insurance. United Health Care referred me to Dr Swain. My diabetic exam went smoothly, however; I sat waiting in a dark examination room long enough to memorize the eye chart & I could hear every word of the person being examined in the adjacent waiting room. (HIPAA??) Second visit for my regular eye exam went smoothly & quickly with Dr Swain and associates, Saying that my current prescription was a bit of an over correction. I am very pleased with the cataract surgery I received from Dr. Greta Mane. Back in 2017 I had my right eye done by another Dr. which was a bad experience. It took weeks to heal. Since it was years ago I was still somewhat afraid when my eye exam recommended my left eye needed cataract surgery . Since then I had switched ins.companies and my new one recommended Cataract and Laser Institute and I set appointment with Dr. Mane. The day of the surgery when I returned home I was not in any pain. I give this Institute five stars with Dr Mane and her team.
