I was a pedestrian hit in a marked crosswalk, with some serious injuries. Through a couple of tough, unexpected hurdles (I was out of healthcare network being rushed to the nearest trauma hospital & driver had state "minimum" liability) Chuck & Mark were able to work through those hurdles & fight/negotiate for my benefit to help me pay my remaining medical bills. Nice friendly place. Clean. I walked in with no appointment and was promptly greeted. A reasonable price, cash only no credit/debit. Mostly older men, but they will cut and style women. Don't expect color treatments, perms, etc. This is a barbershop, not a salon. This was a first-time experience, and I will return. The beautician has experience.
My usual barber went out of business so I took a shot going to Katie. I'm glad I did. She gave a great haircut and was well worth the price!
My daughter and I went to lacquer Saturday and this place was a vibe. It was clean, welcoming and friendly. The workers were fun, professional and made you feel pampered. The owner made sure we were taken care of by doing my daughter nails herself. They turned out perfect. The yummy Carmel scrub on our pedicures was to die for! I don’t normally self care but when I do I definitely will be back to Lacquer Nail Spa. Highly recommended for your nail services.

They do good work, but seriously need to get with the times. It looks dingy in there, everything seems old & dirty, & at the very least IT’S 2025, you HAVE to take card. Cash only is ridiculous. Overall, great service, but inside & policies need work.

Destry is the BEST, especially for naturally curly hair. I came in with many opinions and caveats and fears about my hair and cutting it, but Destry cut it dry in true Devastyle and my curls started popping. A relaxing shampoo and head massage then product and diffuse. Perfection! I went to Levis Commons in Perrysburg right after and received so many compliments. Everyone in the salon was so kind. So glad I found Salon Uptown.

Mike was extremely patient with us as we had delays on our part putting our floor in. We did 3/4” pre finished hardwood on our whole first floor and LVT which was color matched for our whole basement. Everything looks amazing and our contractor mentioned how knowledgeable the floor installers were and enjoyed working with them.

I was very pleased with the care I received at Dr. Frankel and Dr. Puhl's office today. I was a new patient scheduled for August but due to tooth pain I called and they got me in right away and diagnosed my issue and came to a quick resolution. The office staff was great, they all made me feel quite comfortable.

Three weeks ago today we brought our senior girl Trixie home from a night at the Veterinary Emergency Center. Thanks to everyone here, we are able to have more time with her after an alarming elderly-dog scare. This is a busy place, but each person was kind, took his or her time to explain things in depth, answer questions, and field the phone before opening and during the night.

This studio is amazing. The way Diana explains things is so easy for anyone trying to learn. Also if you are new to a group class she will also try and give extra explanation for any new stretches. I love the small class size. It makes things much more comfortable and you still get some one on one attention if you aren't posing quite right. Diana takes her time in each class to explain the why's and how's of every pose every movement and why it is so important to always maintain proper form. She is the most knowledgeable instructor I have ever had in that she just doesn't instruct a class - she teaches classes from her extensive knowledge of how the body works. She has adjusted my body more than once and has given me a set of exercises to do at home. My own Chiropractor endorses her. Honestly I would personally seek Diana's assistance in diagnosing something that is causing me pain - I love to hear her opinion. I have been a client at Essence for over 4 years - Diana and her staff have never been anything but kind to me. Since starting at Essence I eat healthier and have lost weight. I feel great and have made some friends along the way. During COVID she was one of the first studios to offer "zoom" classes and she did it from her heart only charging $5 or donation for classes. As for cleanliness - I am not sure where or when the pictures were taken in the previous comment - is it even at Essence please provide proof. The Essence I attend is extremely clean and tidy. From my experience signing up for class online is easy - then I go to the studio and I have never I mean never had an issue of the door being locked when I get there at the start of class. Also if you can't reach the studio just a hint - there is always someone answering the phones on Monday morning. And whenever I I can't reach someone I have left a message and they call me back within 24 hours at the most. From my experience Essence studio has had to do a lot of adjusting because of COVID. But haven't we all..... haven't most businesses - especially small businesses - it has been a time of adjustment for all of us. Above all Essence has helped me to achieve a sense of gratitude and patience.

Serenity has been my number one choice for years! I've tried several different massage places for the cheaper price, but they've all been subpar in service and customer care compared to Serenity. Everyone there is so nice. Just walking in the door, you are immediately relaxed with calming music, water fountains, and a very nice , light scent in the air. The front desk staff is very friendly and greet you as soon as they see you. And the massage therapists are so wonderful! You do have to kind of "shop around" to find one that best fits what you like because they're all a little bit different, but I've never had a bad massage from them. Serenity just goes above and beyond compared to every other place, and I'll never go anywhere else!
