I've been getting hair cuts with Dan for me and my son for several years now. Environment is masculine but clean, I'd have no problem bringing young ones in here (I've seen several kids that required booster seats getting haircuts here, even some first-timers. The guys do really well with them).
Walk-ins are supposedly welcome, but I'd definitely recommend calling for an appointment. It always seems busy there.
Also be aware that they are cash only!

My son & dad when for their overdue hair cuts. Dad looked ready for summer & my son wasn't happy the barber gave him the cut length I wanted. Otherwise it was a happy experience.

There ought to be a cover charge for the entertainment and good natured banter. Bart was my barber for about 10 years, until he moved downtown. Glad to see him back in the north end of town.
