Mercy Health — Kings Mills Hospital is a 60-bed, state-of-the-art hospital with a 16-treatment-space emergency department, offering a comprehensive range of high-quality health care services in Kings Mills, Mason, and the surrounding communities. The facility is very clean and new, with beautiful public areas. The people are amazing, with kind and helpful ER nurses, techs, and staff. Many describe it as a very nice hospital with a great experience, noting that the staff was really helpful, professional, and attentive. Dr. Bengal is called a superstar who spends time, answers questions clearly, and acts like a friend giving advice. The MRI experience was well explained, with friendly, caring, and pleasant staff. However, the food is described as awful. There are mixed feelings about the lab, where one particular lab tech led to a three-star rating, with no response from the department supervisor. Despite this, the ER, Imaging department, and hospital itself are praised, though the reviewer will not return to the lab.
The majority of everything was great. They’re a small biz so it was a toss if the right people were in for me to be able to stay there. Fortunately, ultrasound hadn’t gone home and we could proceed. I ended up having two surgeries the next day. I was inpatient three nights coming in from the ED. Some people were more attentive than others but most were very nice despite forgetting things I asked for. I chalk it up to everyone is overworked and they probably are too.
I unfortunately had to be admitted for 7 days. I came home for about a week, only to end up back in the hospital overnight for another day. Thankfully, I was in very good hands.

I’ve been a nurse for 30 years and have been out of bedside nursing for many years, so being on the other side of healthcare gave me a whole new perspective. Seeing people who weren’t just doing a great job, but genuinely loving what they do, made me feel safe and cared for during a pretty difficult time.

I just love this hospital. The staff as always treated me so good. Only one time did I ever had a nurse that appeared a little grumpy, but I caught on that she didn't feel good. But yes, the staff is awesome! Would recommend this hospital to everyone and I do just that! Have a Bless evening and week!
