My experiences with Uptown Cleaners have all been great, and I've taken a variety of items in for cleaning. Dress shirts are all nicely pressed, and they'll take all the pins, clips, plastic collar liners and other packaging off a brand new shirt for two bucks, which is well worth it. I've had some vintage wool jackets and varsity sweaters cleaned expertly here too. Rates are reasonable, and the lady at the counter is always nice and friendly to me.
Terrible, I dropped two dress shirts and a pair of pants to have them dry cleaned for a wedding. I dropped them off Monday (5/6) around noon and was reaffirmed multiple times on the phone and by the lady at the front desk they’d be available for pick-up on Friday (5/10) at 7:00am. I confirmed this multiple times because I had to leave that morning, so I needed to make sure they were done (they were sure they would be). Well, I go to pick them up this morning and only the pants are done. I ask the lady what happened to everything being done at 7:00am, and she just gives me a crappy attitude and says “well the truck won’t be here until 4:00pm”. I understand that… read full review
