West African Hair Braiding

I have had my hair braided here 3times. I love the braiders especially the youngest braider. She always makes my tribal braids look amazing. I would rate the place higher if the shop was cleaner. If you need sparkling (this is not the place for you...???). If you just want some amazing braids....they got you. My braids are never over $200 and that includes the hair (which they provide).

Very Rude! I requested to keep my edges out reminding the braiders periodically to keep my edges out and the response was mmm-hmm….the final reminder the braider got frustrated and pulled down my edges, however the other side was completely different. They wanted to debate if I said such a thing until finally one of them honestly confirmed I said keep my edges out. I asked to correct and make perimeter look similar the young lady with glasses became upset and wanted to argue. Thankfully someone else was professional and tried to correct the problem. I still have longer strands out on my perimeter that I have to tuck away. Very unprofessional.

I have been wearing braids for several years. I’ve had 1 long term braiding shop, 1 shop I have been using for the past 6-8 months, and a couple I’ve tried in the beginning. This was my 1st visit because of another scheduling disappointment by the shop I’ve been going to for 6-8 months. I’m satisfied so far. It wasn’t actually the braids, price, convince, etc. Towards the end of my service, 2 other clients were talking about which braiders were the best. The owner or manager overheard them and quickly said “ALL of them are good...”! Now that’s a leader! You can have my business. How you defend & treat your people, speaks to me.
