I made an appointment last night for this morning for a quote, and was completely no-showed without any explanation or apology. I'm honestly not surprised this business doesn't seem successful at all. If you enjoy wasting your time, then this company is for you!

ZERO STARS! SCAMMERS! I'm a disabled, retired Veteran. I scheduled a 26 foot Uhaul and used the MovingHelp website Uhaul offers to get help loading the truck. It was the first time using this system (MovingHelp). I chose J&R Moving Labors and got a text from Uhaul w/a pay code and confirmation. I contacted the company and incidentally gave them a screenshot showing I paid and scheduled my service for 3 days later. Little did I know, that screen shot had the pay code in it. They took the money and never showed up to move me. Not only was I out $270, I also had to pay $300 for a hotel stay for 2 nights, and another $100 to keep my Uhaul an extra day. If I could leave 0 stars, I would. I've moved across the country twice with the help of moving company ... who knew a 1.5 mile move could be so bad! Prior to my move on October 28 John (the owner) was very responsive and professional. He was made aware of items that needed to be moved as well as the square footage of my current apartment. The day of the move, 2 workers arrived on time, but with a pickup truck. Only 1 third of my items were moved that day and my couch was left in the hallway of my new apartment (they couldn't figure out how to get it through the doorway). Between my old and new apartment, I have been billed $250 for damages the company had left.... read full review
