The store has a fantastic layout, and customers can choose from products that meet different criteria such as being vegan, cruelty-free, or sustainable. The Salon at Ulta Beauty provides services including haircuts, coloring, makeup application, and ear piercing. One customer had a positive experience with the hair stylist Matthew, who they followed from a previous Ulta location due to his excellent skills. However, they were unhappy with the cashier who did not offer to use their expiring points and was not friendly. Another customer also had a good experience with Matthew and received great customer service from Amy, who provided makeup tips and helped them find what they needed. Overall, customers appreciate the knowledgeable staff and the range of products and services available at Ulta Beauty. However, there is room for improvement in the consistency of customer service, particularly when it comes to using expiring points.
I just want to give a huge shout out to Skye at the salon in Macedonia's Ulta. My daughter was very nervous about needing a bad haircut fixed, and Skye was so kind and compassionate. She was patient and understanding and was able to put my daughter at ease. Which is a big feat in itself, but was also able to do a phenomenal job on her hair. The entire staff working were extremely helpful with understanding our situation and making the entire experience positive. They even helped my daughter pick out a few things she needed for back to school. This will forever be my Ulta location of choice!
Today was my first time in this particular store. I came in to get my hair bleached by Matt. First off, let me tell you - he is amazing.. so amazing that I followed him from his previous Ulta location in Mentor Ohio to Macedonia Ohio. I wrote a much more in depth review on Mentor Ulta page. I love this store. It's layout is fantastic. My ONLY complaint is that while I was paying my bill of $177 - the cashier DID NOT MENTION OR ASK IF ID LIKE TO USE - MY $15 in points which expire this month. REALLY UNHAPPY WITH HER. ALSO SHE WAS NOT FRIENDLY.
Amy was amazing! She helped me find exactly what I needed. She actually knew most of the products at the store. Give her a raise! The only reason this is not five stars is because you didn't have Nars yet.
