I was greeted by Jason Henzen as I entered the store. My project was finishing my deck. He was knowledgeable about what to look for in good wood. He led us out to the lumber yard to see the lumber. I placed my order and scheduled delivery, the whole order went so incredibly smooth. I had questions about the lumber after it was delivered and Jason answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I had been to big box stores and found their process exhausting and lacking customer service. Not only was the lumber more cost effective, it was beautiful. My deck is so pretty. I was an employee at 84 Lumber for 8 months. Today I was let go. I originally wanted to give a 1 star. Then after thinking for a while 3 stars. And now I've decided to give it a 5 star for a strong list of reasons. I will give a brief amount of thoughts. I did not like many, many things there. And if I had an angry mindset i would be able to write for hours personal reasons i would not recommend working here... But... At the end of the day it would be hard to deny that a great group of people work there. Everyday Americans just trying to live the American dream. People with families, and holding everlasting love. I found the prices here very reasonable and the help was great. They were friendly and very knowledgeable, especially compared to some of those other big box warehouse stores.I would recommend checking them out!
