84 Lumber provides lumber and building materials. Customers report a process that is incredibly smooth and more cost effective than big box stores, with beautiful lumber. The services are typical for a lumber yard but are described as friendly and helpful, able to find specialty items others did not have. Reviews note a great group of people work there, with staff that is knowledgeable and who make customers feel more important than profit. Employees are described as everyday Americans trying their best. The store is noted for having a manager and most staff who do everything in their power to help the store reach its highest potential. It is considered a great place to get material.
I was greeted by Jason Henzen as I entered the store. My project was finishing my deck. He was knowledgeable about what to look for in good wood. He led us out to the lumber yard to see the lumber. I placed my order and scheduled delivery, the whole order went so incredibly smooth. I had questions about the lumber after it was delivered and Jason answered all my questions and put my mind at ease. I had been to big box stores and found their process exhausting and lacking customer service. Not only was the lumber more cost effective, it was beautiful. My deck is so pretty. I can not thank 84 Lumber enough for such a great experience. Sincerely Kim S

I was an employee at 84 Lumber for 8 months. Today I was let go. I originally wanted to give a 1 star. Then after thinking for a while 3 stars. And now I've decided to give it a 5 star for a strong list of reasons. I will give a brief amount of thoughts. I did not like many, many things there. And if I had an angry mindset i would be able to write for hours personal reasons i would not recommend working here... But... At the end of the day it would be hard to deny that a great group of people work there. Everyday Americans just trying to live the American dream. People with families, and holding everlasting love. If you read any reviews regarding negative interactions.… read full review

If you find this review helpful, please give it a thumbs up!Got some great deals on lumber here for a project I'm working with a relative. I found the prices here very reasonable and the help was great. They were friendly and very knowledgeable, especially compared to some of those other big box warehouse stores.I would recommend checking them out!
