I was exposed to step throat and started getting a sore throat. I was registered and taken to a room within minutes of arriving. History and throat swab was done quickly. Staff was friendly and efficient. Finished visit in less than 45 minutes. I would highly recommend Westside Urgent Care. Only issue was that exam table was not covered with paper. Otherwise a very good experience.

My son had horrible sinus pain and congestion and we were seen very quickly and given great treatment and prescribed antibiotics without any issue. The waiting room and exam room were very clean too

I came in with sore throat, fever, and coughing. They said it could be anything but couldn't run tests. They wouldn't test me for flu, covid, anything. The NP said if I really wanted he could try to get a test for strep throat but he knew I didnt have that and it would be a waste. I insisted they run the test anyways. Waited 90 minutes for anyone to come back. Nurse came in and said I was being discharged and my prescription would be ready for pick up in an hour. I asked what the prescription was for and she says oh no one told you... you have strep....... got the bill later for emergency room visit. Its close to my work and convenient but never again.

I’ve had good precious experiences but this one did it for me. Came in for The same thing I’m always in here for when the seasons change. Congestion and runny nose. Coughing is rare. All I was given was a bad attitude from the nurse and provider and cough syrup that I can only take at night because it makes you drowsy. Will probably never come back here.

The lady at the front desk was being very rude to my mother and I. She somewhat fixed her attitude when the interpreter she put for my mother was on video but even then she was still a little rude.

The worst Urgent care with the worst patient care. NP Tonya… run, ask for a different provider. Rude and incompetent, also when you call to question her she will hang up on you in the most rude way. Absolutely terrible service and behavior. 0/5 stars.

Came in for just a blood test. Easy, right? Nope. I waited so long I considered starting a new life in the waiting room. People who came in after me were zipping through like they had VIP passes. Pretty sure someone got a full surgery while I was still waiting for my name to be called.

The only saving grace was the sweet blood tech who apologized — honestly, she deserves a raise AND a therapist for dealing with that chaos.

Next time, I might just diagnose myself with WebMD and call it a day.

Thank you for your quick and professional help. From Chris, who admitted me at the front desk to Kelly, my registered nurse, who cared for me. I was also seen by Chelsea the nurse practitioner. You were all pleasant and caring. It is difficult when you don't feel well and you're 3000 miles from home. You ladies made me feel welcome and you provided excellent care. I was seen in a timely manner you were all polite and knowledgeable. I filled my prescriptions, took my medication right away, and within 4 hours I felt 80% better. I thought it was important to write a review because I had readd so many negative ones. People's experiences are all different. Mine was a very positive one. Thank you for caring.

I visited Mercy Health’s Urgent Care on October 15, 2024, following my insurance provider’s advice. Unfortunately, my visit was billed as an “Emergency Visit” at hospital rates, which I wasn’t informed about beforehand. I was charged significantly more than expected, including a chest X-ray that seems to have been unnecessary, as it revealed nothing significant.

My insurance provider never received the claim for the urgent care visit, and Mercy Health claimed it was adjusted off, raising concerns about billing practices. This seems like a pattern of price gouging and poor transparency, as many other patients report similar issues.

I feel misled and overcharged. I would advise others to be cautious before choosing Mercy Health’s Urgent Care.
