Alex worked miracles with our very stubborn, set in his ways, one year old male mini dachshund. We chose the 8 day board and train program. The cost was very reasonable compared to other board and train programs we researched, and after seeing the results, it was worth every penny! We received multiple pictures and updates daily from the care team of Frankie during his play time and walks, and received multiple videos and updates from Alex showing what commands Frankie had learned each day. What an experience! So impressed every step of the way with canine academy. The facilities were beautiful and clean. Communication was crazy good. They even sent pics every day. We worried our dog wouldn’t want to come home. But most important and impressive was the trainer, Alex. Patient kind and so talented with dogs (and dog parents). We had a very sweet but super reactive dog I couldn’t walk for fear of being pulled over, and a kitten who showed up on our doorstep that he wanted no part of. Thanks to Alex he walks beautifully. Best dog ever! No pulling at all. And he and the kitten are totally at ease together now. Alex changed all our lives in an incredible... read full review
