About Raccoon Hill Golf Club
Raccoon Hill Golf Club is a well-maintained course with friendly staff and has seen many continuous improvements over the past few years. The fairways and greens are expertly kept, surrounded by trees, sand traps, and water hazards. Recent upgrades include new tee boxes, tree clean-up, and better maintenance, making the course look fabulous. Visitors can expect a welcoming atmosphere and a pleasant round of golf. The course features two distinct designs for the front nine and back nine, offering an easy experience with space on the wide right and left, though some holes can be tricky. The pro shop is solid and offers good merchandise. While hole 13, a par 5 at 500 yards, has faced criticism for its design, the overall layout provides a unique challenge not found on many other courses. The clubhouse and restrooms have also been recently remodeled, showing the tremendous effort put into enhancing the facility. The course is run by awesome people, and the manager, Jason, is highly regarded. Overall, it is a highly recommended place for golfers of all levels, and the food is amazing—anything ordered will be loved.
It's a well kept public course, that seems efficiently run and reasonably priced ($32 for nine with a cart). Grabbed a beer afterwards, in the little grill in the little pro shop. I can think of nothing bad to say about the place, and only good things ..oh, wait, there was one bad thing: I played like crap. But that is probably less their issue than mine.
Great course. Challenging. Nice. Come a long way over the last few years
Nice little gem located outside Kent Ohio. Haven't played the front nine yet but the back nine can be super challenging and fun at the same time. If you like a challenge you can try to cut the corner and go over trees on a couple holes. You can reach one of the par fours in one over the trees from the senior tees. Greens were in really nice shape early in the year and they have new golf carts with super plush seats.
