Ohio State Inflammatory Bowel Disease Center Hilliard has friendly staff and is very prompt. Dr. Nawaz is the key to keeping IBS and GERD under control, taking a lot of time and being knowledgeable. Dr. Chiplunker is very professional, listens to patients, and is top notch. M. Verhoff takes her time addressing concerns and takes opinions into helping with personal care. The schedulers are helpful with great customer service, and the nurses and PA’s who handle mychart are responsive and caring. However, before the fall of 2022 the program rated 9 or 10, but now rates 4-6. Multiple appointments have been cancelled without notice or consent, and phone calls for scheduling offer no options to see a provider. It is over a year since a specialist was seen for a chronic condition. To get an appointment, the patient advocate had to be called.
Dr. Chiplunker is very professional. She listens to her patients. She is top notch. My husband met her for the first time and he said he really liked her. He thought she is one of the best doctors we have seen from OSU, and let me note there are a lot of top notch doctors & staff @ OSU.
Highly recommend. Friendly staff and very prompt. Coming from a Cleveland Clinic GI patient, this is the second best place!! Highly recommend M. Verhoff. She takes her time addressing my concerns and takes my opinions into helping with my personal care. 10/10
I have been a patient of the IBD Center for over 9 years. Before the fall of 2022 I used to rate this program at 9 or a 10. Now I would say a 4-6 depending on what kind of day I am having. I have had multiple appointments cancelled with either no notice or without consent. I have had phone calls to schedule with no options to see a provider. It is over a year since I have seen a specialist for my chronic condition. The schedulers are very helpful and have great customer service.
