“I cannot say enough about the kindness and help I received from Dr. Aurand. My experience is one I’ll probably remember forever as he was literally my answer to prayer! Stay with me here as this isn’t a short story but it’s one that deserves the attention to detail. I went on a cruise over Thanksgiving with family and the night before we embarked on the journey I started getting a weird pain in my tailbone area. I didn’t think much of it because I do barbell classes multiple times a week and figured I was just sore. However, the pain progressed significantly and by day two on the ship I could barely walk and it took an intense energy to sit and to get back up. Being a born again believer, I was in continual prayer for wisdom on what to do to alleviate the pain. I still believed it to be a pulled muscle I needed to stretch as well and cold and hot therapy; which I tried for two days. Finally, I went to the doctors office they have on board where I had no way of knowing if their services were going to be $30 or $300 so I declined and went back to praying. Twenty minutes after leaving the office I went to have breakfast with my sister and BIL, who happens to be a PA, who was asking me questions about the type of pain I was enduring, to which I explained my issues. Not five minutes later, two gentleman walked up to our table and said they overheard our conversation and informed us there was a Chiropractor Convention onboard and I should stop by later to see if they could help. So I went of course! It was there I met Dr. Aurand! He immediately started asking me questions and asked if he could try to adjust me. I was in tears of pain the entirety of this ordeal and a complete mess at this point and he was completely professional in the midst of my blubbery and pain. He adjusted me and informed me my sacrum wasn’t in the right place. I asked if I could hug him before I left and within three hours of leaving I had full movement back with no pain. Thank you Doctor! You were 100% an answer to prayer and whether you knew it or not that day, God used you for His glory through your upstanding character of helping someone in need!
