The people commenting on here are clearly no one who has truly dealt with the Stearns on a regular basis. I have purchased from and consulted with these folks for decades on instruments and care... never to be disappointed. I am not sure why a 37 year old professional needs the expert guidance of this business to begin with, but to leave the bogus review they did is bad jester in my opinion. This family loves music and supporting the local community. In turn, they are a staple in the area for sure in terms of violin, cello, viola, etc. instruments. This is a great place for violin and cello purchases, repairs and service. The staff are so friendly and helpful. This shop was recommended to us by my son's former cello instructor and we have used them for the last 4 years. So glad we found them. A little higher priced than some other places but worth it.

I was in for an evaluation of my instruments and was pleasantly surprised at their calm and thorough service. Very knowledgeable and I learned a few things while I was there :-) He took as much time as was needed to look over the instruments before giving me the valuation. I recommend them.
