I went to Gilda's for a bridesmaid alteration and they were great! Not only did the dress turn out perfectly, but the prices for the services are amazing. I will 100% come back to support this small business.
Great tailor! I just had suit pants hemmed at the cuffs and the waist taken in. I had gotten a great price on a new suit from Macy’s knowing the pants would need altered. Great pricing for the work needed and done in 1 week as requested. All the work is done on site, open shop so you can see the seamstresses hard at work. Easy curbside parking right at the door. Support this local small business!
I had never gotten any clothing tailored before and didn’t really know what to expect. After visiting a few other places that said they couldn’t finish the suit alterations before my interview, I stopped by Gilda’s. To my surprise, Gilda took one look and told me my suit already fit perfectly and didn’t need any tailoring.
She could have easily charged me for unnecessary work like those other big box stores were apparently more than willing to do, but instead she was completely honest and even shared a laugh with me about it.
