“I highly recommend UAI. From my very first year with them, they demonstrated the kind of thoroughness that actually pays off. They caught a significant error in a prior year's return prepared by a different accountant, one that had cost me a substantial refund I was owed. They didn't just flag it; they explained exactly what had gone wrong, why it happened, and walked me through clear steps to recover the money.
The following year, they identified an issue with how my state tax withholding was being handled on the employer side. Not only did they spot it, they gave me specific language to use in addressing it and a clear path to getting everything corrected.
That's been my experience across the board: detail-oriented, friendly, and genuinely helpful. They do what they say they'll do, and they do it on time. If you're looking for an accountant who catches what others miss and makes the whole process straightforward, this is the firm.”
