Not enough staff is the biggest problem. Food is all premade. Nothing seemed fresh. Rugs could use a good cleaning but it would be better to replace them with something washable. With that said, they have excellent people who do work there. I noticed when the state came there were a lot of people working but when they left the staff seemed to shrink.
I think they really do try to help people. It’s also one of the best rehab places. It’s the lack of staff and food Quality that brings them down.
My mother-in-law stayed here for 10 weeks following a shoulder injury. She was quite comfortable during her stay. The nurses and staff were attentive and informative. Megan made sure we understood the convoluted Medicare processes, and tried to answer all of our transition questions. MIL raved about the therapists, including SLP, OT, and PT. There are many amenities and activities offered. The facility is pristine, but does not smell like a hospital or a nursing home. The grounds are beautiful,...read full review
