The charge port on my 6 yr old Dell laptop (which is otherwise in great condition, fast, and works perfectly) became deformed and stopped charging. I called multiple computer repair places, a couple of them told me they didn't do this kind of repair and a couple others recommended I buy a new laptop because it would be cheaper to replace it than to pay for the parts/labor to replace the charge port. I was very disheartened to hear this because there is otherwise nothing wrong with my computer!
