“I had a handful of appointments here this year (4-6, I’m not sure) and the experience was always great. Staff is super friendly, hair stylist worked with me to give me exactly what I wanted; overall a positive experience.
That being said: every appointment I had was at 5:00, and (for the majority of them) I was 10-15 minutes early because I would stop on my way home from work. While that in and of itself is not the stylists problem, the fact that every single appointment didn’t actually start until 5:20-5:30 is.
I understand running behind, double booking, unexpected circumstances, whatever else that could require an additional 10-20 minutes every once in a while. But every single appointment? If I wanted my appointment at 5:30, I’d make it for 5:30.
Again, I want to reiterate that the stylist was phenomenal, so sweet and friendly and did a really great job with my hair. But even my patience can only stretch so far, and while I would highly recommend the salon, it’s with a grain of salt if you’re on any sort of time crunch.
Edit: My haircut itself takes 10 minutes, max, as I don’t get my hair washed, get clippers on 3/4 of it and a small amount cut off the length to keep up with the style. And again, I did mention that I understand needing to wait 10-20 minutes every once in a while, but for every single appointment is too much for me. I do understand it’s the holidays, things are busy. I usually have no problems waiting, but if I showed up 20 minutes late instead of 20 minutes early to every appointment, I would’ve been dropped as a client. I’m choosing to drop a stylist.
I gave a 4 star review because my overall experience was positive. Everyone is very friendly, the environment is great. My review is not misleading.”
