My grandmother went home to heaven last month. Shannon, at Monreal Funeral Home, made the funeral planning easy and stress free for me. She is very kind, professional and understands the emotions with loss. Shannon and the staff at Monreal Funeral Home honestly took care of everything for me. I wanted to say thank you to the young man who streamed the funeral live for those who could not attend. There were compliments on how well done the funeral was. I credit that to all of you at Monreal Funeral Home. Some tips that helped me: - Pick 3-5 photos so the make-up artists know how to make your loved one look like they're only sleeping - Pick 3-5 songs and the artist for the final goodbye or see you later. The music is played softly. I chose instrumental. This to me helps keep the mood calm. - Have your loved ones final clothing picked out and ready. If it's a little big that's okay. - I made four poster boards of pictures. It's good to have them ready for when you do your final meeting before the funeral. On this day you will choose your memory cards and music. A clergy will also be finalized or determined. *Please ask about live streaming during this time*. Again I wanted to tell Shannon and the other staff members thanks for a respectful and well done job.

So impressed with Monreal Funeral home today. I ordered flowers and arrived to calling hours and the flowers were nothing like I ordered. I spoke to the owner Jane and she removed my flowers and made them 100 % better. Very accommodating. Thank you Jane ❤️

My son passed recently and I remembered a few time I had been to Montreal. Good location, warm caring staff, and Alex was so kind helping me plan this at such a difficult time. Then Bernard was compassionate the whole evening, and helped with whatever was needed. No one wants to think about death but it comes to all, some too soon. Having the right people help you is easier.
