“I first went to another dry cleaners in Dublin and asked if they could fix a zipper on a bee suit. My hobby is beekeeping. The zipper broke off and it's a must when dealing with thousands of bees. They said they could not do it but highly recommend Sunny's. They added that she was amazing. I made my way there but when my GPS told me I was there, it was no place to be seen. I must have circled the area six times until I saw a woman come out with what looked to be a clothes bag. I walked in and there it was. The woman looked at the suit and I think was fascinated that I kept bees. She told me to wait a minute and within 5 minutes she came back with it fixed! I was amazed! I thought it would take days but she fixed it on the spot. Then took the time to explain what the real issue was. I would highly recommend this place.“

“I took a dress here to be hemmed, needed the dress shortened by 6 inches and the sleeves tucked in fit my wrist. The gentleman did a Wonderful Job … except for the price: $100.00 ?. But I needed the dress for an upcoming function that weekend.

The Good News is that I have found Hill’s Alterations on W Broad Street. They do Great Work. I had a dress hemmed for a Fraction of the cost … about 75% less ?.

The owner of Hill’s Alterations reminds me of my Mom … my Mom would have us stand on a chair, she would ask us “how long do you want the pants, skirt, dress etc. She would put ONE straight pin in the garment and tell us okay … get down, take it off. And the pants, skirt, dress etc. would be hemmed PERFECTLY !!!

Do you need something altered?? Follow my advice for a fraction of the cost. NEVER, EVER AGAIN spend $100.00 to have a garment hemmed.“
