About Avina Women's Care
Based on patient reviews, Avina Women's Care in Dublin, formerly Premier Women’s Health, offers a range of women's healthcare services, including pregnancy care and mammograms. Many patients highly recommend the staff, particularly Dr. Donlon, Dr. Schott, and Dr. Cacchio. These providers are described as wonderful, kind, funny, compassionate, and communicative. Patients feel heard and validated, especially after feeling dismissed by other practices. The office staff, including a front desk gal and a mammo lady named Miss Karen, are noted for their sweet personalities and friendliness. Patients appreciate that appointments are timely and that the team takes time to answer questions and make patients feel welcome. One patient with PCOS received immense help while trying to conceive. However, a long-term patient reported a consistent issue: during two labors at Dublin Methodist, no doctor from the practice was present for the delivery. Both times, a midwife she had never met performed the delivery, and she did not see a doctor until after the baby was born. Despite this, other patients have had phenomenal experiences, with one noting that a provider made a difficult 10 PM c-section feel calm and safe. Overall, the practice is praised for restoring faith in women's healthcare, with many patients feeling grateful and confident in the care received.
Dr. Donlon is so amazing!! Today was unfortunately my last day with her since I’m moving out of state but I wish I could keep her as my doctor. She’s been amazing as an OB. Very personable and always made me feel comfortable and cared for. I highly recommend her

However, I’ve now had two babies while a patient at this clinic, and both times I have been in labor, I have been unable to get any of the OBs I know to be at the hospital during delivery. Two years ago I had a spontaneous delivery and a 14 hour labor. This past January I had a scheduled induction, and a relatively uncomplicated 17 hour labor. But for some reason both times the nurses at Dublin Methodist had to pull in some midwife I’ve never met to perform the deliveries. I didn’t even see a doctor until about 15 minutes...read full review
I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Donlon and Dr. Schott.
I first met Dr. Donlon after feeling unheard and dismissed by a previous OBGYN practice. From the very beginning, she genuinely listened to me, validated my concerns, and even apologized for what I had gone through. So when I found out I was pregnant, continuing my care with her was an easy decision.
Throughout my entire pregnancy, Dr. Donlon has been everything you hope for in a provider—compassionate, communicative, and deeply committed to her patients. Everything was smooth until the final couple of weeks, when I began experiencing complications. During that stressful time,...read full review
