They have a great selection of new and used vinyl recordings of all genres at reasonable prices. They also have CDs and I believe I even saw some cassettes including blanks.
Omega is a family owned business and has been around forever. I bought my first ever CD at the original location on N. Main St from then owner Gary 40 years ago. Gary was a great guy and after his passing his family took over and still runs the business.
This is a legit record store that respects the full spectrum—jazz, reggae, rock, metal, and of course hip‑hop—but still built around vinyl. The stock is huge: local, underground, indie, and mainstream, plus collectible pieces and clean used wax. They also carry speakers, record players and accessories, which is a nice plus if you’re building or upgrading your setup.

Love the atmosphere, great music for sale and friendly staff... It's in Oregon district so great place to walk if you're in Dayton and want a feel for why we love our city as there is great food, eccentric and unique shops for shopping, night life, and the cobblestone roads... This music store has great new and used vinyl and plenty of unique items on its own but the location adds to the mystique of this great family owned store that I don't visit enough! Yeah Omega music you are doing it right!!!
