This is the place to go. I had tried almost everything for my chronic knee pain, including numerous knee surgeries with highly regarded Orthopaedic surgeons and countless hours of the standard physical therapy. The pain never subsided and it all led to multiple surgeons recommending a partial knee replacement. I refused to believe it was the end of the road and wasn’t interested in another surgery, especially if there was no guarantee of success. Then I decided to see Dr. Herman after reading all the great reviews. Immediately the approach was different. He listened, was extremely thorough in his exam and review of my knee history and provided his opinions on what he thought could help. So far it’s been the most effective therapy I’ve had anywhere. Dr. Herman has identified issues not relating to the knee that no one else has ever focused on - especially muscle tightness and mobility. The focus isn’t just on where the pain is but looking at the whole body to see what is contributing to the pain. Therapies I’ve received here include Dry Needling, Active Release and Blood Flow Restriction Training (BFR). This combination has been extremely beneficial. There isn’t always a quick fix - if you’ve had pain for years it may take multiple visits to see improvement depending on what is going on. I’m still a patient and seeing improvement each visit. Before coming here I was considering the partial knee replacement, but for now that is on hold for the foreseeable future. The entire staff here is amazing and so helpful. Dr. Herman truly cares about his patients and doesn’t believe in treating a condition the same way for everyone. It’s well worth your while to come here and see how different and effective the approach is!
