About Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd.

Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd. is a firearms company that has received mixed reviews from its customers. While some customers have had a positive experience with the company's customer service, others have faced issues with the quality of the firearms they purchased. One customer praised the company's customer service, stating that the representative they dealt with was "prompt, professional, knowledgeable and empathetic" when they had an issue with a broken barrel bushing on their 1911-22 pistol. The customer appreciated the representative's efforts to resolve the issue, even though it took longer than expected to receive the replacement part. Another customer had a positive experience with the Chiappa M1 9mm carbine, describing it as "one of the most fun rifles easy to shoot and maintain" they have ever owned. The customer was impressed with the rifle's performance, noting that they did not experience any misfires or jams during their range session. However, one customer had a less than satisfactory experience with a defective Charles Daly (a subsidiary of Chiappa Firearms) firearm they purchased. Despite the initial issue, the customer praised the customer service representatives, Liz and Nick, for their professionalism, openness, and honesty in dealing with the situation. The customer expressed hope that the issue would be resolved and that they would have the same level of confidence in the firearm they purchased for life-threatening emergencies. Overall, Chiappa Firearms USA, Ltd. appears to have a mixed reputation, with some customers praising the company's customer service, while others have faced issues with the quality of their products.

Great customer service! In September (now February) I contacted the Dayton office customer service person for a broken barrel bushing for my 1911-22. I’ve had the pistol for years and the part just snapped while cleaning. At that time they told me it would be anywhere from 30-90 days for them to get parts from Italy. That seemed long but reasonable considering the circumstances. I waited at least 120 days and contacted the customer service through email. After some persistence on my part they found a bushing for me and sent it asap. This was definitely a unique situation but I have to say the person I was dealing with was prompt, professional, knowledgeable and empathetic...read full review

I just purchased the Chiapa M1, 9 mm carbine. I literally have owned hundreds of rifles and this has to be one of the most fun rifles easy to shoot and maintain rifle I've ever owned. I fired 50 rounds through it at the range with inexpensive ammo and did not have one misfire or jam, it's very lightweight. Looks very cool and it's probably gonna be my go to rifle at the range. It's economical to shoot compared to other larger centerfire rounds and it literally was a blast. At 40 yards at a human size upper torso , all of the rounds were in the torso without any adjustment to the sites at that point. Once I site it in i'm sure it'll be a much tighter grouping. I give the rifle honestly five stars I couldn't care less about the bolt not locking back to clean it. It's easy enough to hold it back or wedge something in the slide. That's the only little drawback, and I don't consider that much of anything to worry about . For those who cry about that issue, let them go out and buy a real M1 for three times the money and two times the ammo cost.

Unfortunately, the brand-new Charles Daly (a subsidiary of Chiappa Firearms) firearm I purchased from a reputable retail shop was defective. It hopelessly jammed the first time I tried to load it.No, that's not why I want to give Chiappa Firearms a five-star review. In spite of my frustration and displeasure at the prospect of putting faith in an unreliable weapon, both Liz in Customer Service and Chiappa's Service Manager, Nick, both went out of their way to rectify the issue. No, the problem has not yet been resolved.I'm writing this review because both Liz and Nick have earned my respect and trust in how they've dealt with me. I can only hope I'll have the same level of confidence in the weapon I purchased for life-threatening emergencies after this ordeal is forgotten.Liz and Nick have dealt with an unpleasant situation with professional kindness, openness and honesty -- in addition to going out of their way to help me.Therefore, I would recommend dealing with Chiappa Firearms, even though I purchased a firearm that was defective. I believe they will make it right, because of Liz and Nick.Sincerely,Robert S*********
