Last year we noticed a wet spot starting to form on the first floor ceiling in the kitchen. We reached out to MI to take a look after a heating and cooling company came out and said the vent needs insulated or the space between the exterior wall and the register. They refused to come out and blamed the weather for condensation on the vents of a brand new house. I lived in a house for 25 years prior to this home and never had that happen once. My ceiling is yellow and ruined and the issue never resolved. On top of that I just found that MI was allegedly fixing this issue for select customer in different areas, but refused to fix ours. We love our new MI home in Foxfire! The open concept of our home, the modern updates you can choose to make it your own, and the space for our dogs to run around are perfect for us! Foxfire is a beautiful community; the pool and golf course were big selling points for us.
Adam Harrison, our MI sales rep, was beyond outstanding! He took care of us throughout the whole home buying and building process. He answered any questions we had, and was on top of everything! The closing crew on our closing day were also very supportive and excited for us. Overall would hands down recommend buying or building your home with MI.
We had an amazing experience building with M/I - from the initial meeting with Morgan, our construction supervisor Craig, closing, etc. everything went super smoothly. We had never built a home before so we didn't know what to expect and were very pleased. The home itself is beautiful, we've never had any issues (and we've been here two years!), and we definitely recommend M/I to anyone wanting a new build.
