Dr. Hoover is the best. I went in to my appointment ashamed and embarrassed about my skin condition. Dr. Hoover was very professional and empathetic to what my skin problem. I did not have to wait long at all! Got in to an exam room swiftly, and in less that 10 mins, the Dr. was in the room. He was patient and listened to my full history that collectively contributed to my skin problem. He clarified the misinformation I had, and gave me a clear and treatable way for me to feel comfortable and confident again. I didnt think I ever needed a dermatologist because I have perfect skin. I went in for a minor lip fordyce, and now Im getting treated for hairloss and hair growth; something Ive always been insecure about. Dr. Hoover is always very nice and I trust his expertise. My appointments always flexible and quick.

I highly recommend Downtown Dermatology to anyone with dermatological needs. I am a lifelong sufferer of chronic acne and Amy Lipp has worked with me to address my unique skin care! Amy and the rest of the staff are very knowledgeable in their field!
