Stick with AEP, if you could. I had a power outage, today, on Sunday. Their offices are open Monday through Friday. No way to report an outage. Today is 06/07/2026, their outage report recording is 05/27/2026. Suggestion if City of Columbus wants to be a part of Utilities games, hire people for Saturday and Sunday and also nights, to report outages.

New meters installation was needed so they can make more money! Now they want to go to monthly billing so they can charge you more, clean river fund, storm sewer charges, the list goes on and on. Bend over Columbus we need another water plant to pay for Data Centers...

The tenant /owner water billing system is ridiculous. I sent in the paperwork at the required time but it took them weeks to process it. Now due to their mistake and long processing time, I'm (as the owner) being penalised. Always a long wait time to speak to someone on the phone and when you do speak to someone they are not very helpful. All other utility companies are easy to work with but the tenant/owner billing thing is horrendous. Everything should be in the tenants name only. PLEASE CHANGE THIS!

My water supply line has been hacked. I reported this to the relevant City of Columbus Water department and they said there is nothing they can do from their end because I live in a residential community that is managed by one master water supply line. I previously reached out to the property management office of my residential community but no one has seemingly done anything about this. No communication seemingly took place between this utility company and my property management office to conduct an investigation (as far as I've been made aware.) Utility companies and businesses are getting hacked often, but somehow, this utility company and my property management office don't seem to be too bothered by this. So, my water supply line is still being hacked and manipulated by a cybercriminal and Ohio resident, Henry H. Phillips-Gary, that is enjoying his freedom and doing as he pleases.

Nothing has been done to stop him. Reporting him to other relevant authorities has resulted in nothing. Never in my life did I think I would have to deal with such a horrible situation. It seems this organization is trying to ensure my review doesn't get publicly published.

Wish I could give you 0 stars for the 2 road closures and the amount of time it took me to get home from work…just to discover my water is off and nobody was notified and NOBODY knows anything!!! How convenient???!!!!

I am currently dealing with an ongoing issue where my water was shut off around 11:30 AM due to a “meter read” issue that I had no prior knowledge of. My water meter is located inside my basement, and no one contacted me in advance to schedule access.
A notice was left on my door, which was my first awareness of any issue. I immediately called and followed all instructions, including scheduling a meter read appointment as requested. I was told my service would be restored.
Despite complying immediately, my water has now been off for over 12+ hours and continues into the next day.
This situation has created a serious hardship, especially as I have children in the home with special needs. The continued lack of running water is impacting basic care, hygiene, and daily living.
It is extremely concerning that an essential service can be shut off without proper coordination, and even more concerning that it is not promptly restored after the customer complies.
I have formally reported this issue and expect urgent resolution.

Horrible service. The guy came in without calling us 30 before as I have requested. They want me to stay in my store from 7.30 to 5pm window. Who does that. He called then it got there with a no caller number and I told him I was also in whitehall and will be there in about 5 to 10 minutes. I got here in 8 minutes and he already left to 2 buildings next to me. I spoke to him to come back because he literally just left and he said he can't come back I have to reschedule for another day and sit here for 10.30hr window again. Very useless and horrible service. Customer service rep is also arrogant
