The Schvitz Social Club, established in 1927, is one of the last remaining old-world European Bathhouses & Social Clubs in the country. Reservations are required, with available days and times varying. The Club typically opens around 2pm, but Special Event Sundays, featuring Co-Ed or Ladies-Only Days and Gameday Parties, start around noon. The Schvitz offers a unique experience that allows guests to leave reality behind and decompress. Visitors can enjoy a traditional steam bath, followed by a scrub down and oak leaf flogging by an attendant. A 30-minute massage is also available, and the massage services have received praise for being magical. The Club provides towels, and there are showers both inside and outside the bathhouse area. An outdoor space is available for relaxing or smoking. The dining room upstairs serves a salad with delicious dressing and a large, flavorful steak coated in garlic, accompanied by roasted potatoes. Guests can also choose fish or vegetarian options, all included in one price. Soft drinks, beer, and hard seltzer are available, and guests are welcome to bring their own beverages and snacks. Schvitz is the goat but I simply cannot explain the immaculate vibes in a review. Check out the pics of their steak and bread it's some of the best food I've ever had in my life. Would give 6 stars if I could!
Randomly found this gem a few months ago and I’m sure glad I did. This place is judgment free, come as you are and the ladies days are a whole vibe. Leaving reality to sweat, plunge, ground down and decompress from life is something we all need once in a while. The massages are magical and do try a platza! Chef throws down in the kitchen as I have tried just about everything here. I have been a half a dozen times in the past few months and it’s been a game changer to add to my health and wellness. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you Cleveland and I’ll see ya next season.
Such an amazing, relaxing day! Starts at noon, goes til about 5 or so on Ladies Day and Co-ed days. Sauna, cold plunge, showers, towels, delicious steak dinner (or fish or vegetarian) for one all inclusive price!
Can add on 30 min massage and/or Platza for extra charge. BYOB so enjoy your own wine, booze, or beers, as well as whatever snacks you want to bring! Theres also nonalcoholic beverages available and some beer and hard seltzer choices too, included in your price!
The sauna is perfect! Depending on where you sit will determine how hot you get, closer to the floor is cooler, closer to the ceiling is hotter. The Platza is a great add on in the sauna. The guy...read full review
