We hired Ron to train our 1yr old German Shephard. Mac was nipping and biting to get attention as well as chewing things up and not listening very well. We had worked with other trainers but their methods weren't right for Mac. Ron taught us how to use an e-collar correctly...as a reminder of the expected behavior, not as a punishment. We used a lot of positive reinforcement with treats and toys and Mac responded very well. We just had our 5th session

Ron is awesome! You can see he is a dog lover, and because he cares, he wants to make sure the dog he is training learns commands necessary to keep the dog safe, like "look", "come", and "heel". He teaches beyond those commands, and he uses mostly positive reinforcement. In just a few short sessions, he helped our dog learn basic commands and get him more under control by using exercise and some minor punishment to stop obnoxious behaviors. We will be calling Ron again in the future for a tune-up, and we will be recommending him to family and friends that have dogs.

I have had 2 great experiences with Ron. His combination of reward with correction is perfect and thedogs have freedoms that they would not have had otherwise.My first training experience with Ron was with my 100 pound, 2 ½ year old lab, Hustler. By the time Idecided to work with Ron, I had had multiple trainers, training classes and still issues with Hustlerlistening. Command and Treat reward did not work with Hustler. He is very singular focused on hiswants. He pulled at the leash when walking and made it hard for me to handle. A typical lab, he lovesthe water and when I would take him swimming, he would drag me to the water to get in. He wasextremely hard to handle....read full review
