About Climb Cleveland
Climb Cleveland is a unique, holistic gym located in an eclectic neighborhood on the outskirts of Cleveland. The four-story, converted building features a three-story climbing gym with a yoga studio, offering a variety of climbing experiences and a relaxing atmosphere. The gym has a welcoming vibe, with a caring front desk and clean facilities. It is considered a top-tier bouldering spot, with great routes that vary in complexity and are suitable for all ages and groups. The rental gear is excellent and reasonably priced, and route setters demonstrate great ingenuity, ensuring climbers learn the fundamentals to help improve. The community is friendly and helpful, creating a great vibe that encourages memberships and social connections. The top level is larger and has some great overhang problems, making it a favorite spot for those wanting a challenge. The gym also features traverses for endurance building, and some weight equipment. It is built in an old building with lots of character, adding to its charm. The route difficulty is mostly indicated by hold color, which can sometimes limit the variety of routes, but colored tape on the start holds helps indicate grade clearly. Overall, Climb Cleveland offers a fun, challenging, and welcoming environment for climbers of all levels.
Top-tier bouldering spot. Great routes with varying complexity. Suitable for all age and groups. Great rental gear and prices are super reasonable. Route setters have great ingenuity and make sure you learn fundamentals to help you progress.
As a side note, the community here is great as well. I got a membership pretty quickly after coming here the first time. The staff and customers are awesome and they have a great vibe. Also, the yoga is great as well!
I loved this place! The atmosphere was totally chill and the routes weren't graded soft or sandbagged. Lol. At first I thought it was a smaller gym when I looked around the lower and main level. There were some easy types to warm up on that were a bit short but fun.
Then I did a few harder routes and really had to work at it to top out. Probably because of my advanced age, arthritis, allergies, subluxed sternoclavicular joint or just plain laziness. Whatever. That's for another day.
The top level was much larger than the other 2 levels and had some great overhang problems that I loved trying. Definitely wished I could have hung out there more.

This is a stellar bouldering gym. Gyms usually are in unremarkable warehouse but this one happens to be built in an old building with so much character. It's a really neat spot in addition to be being a great gym
Lots of routes at each level, lots of space spread over several floors, lots of different types of climbs at the various grades. There are traverses which I love for endurance building. Some weight equipment. This has pretty much everything.
I'm only in town for a short visit so I can't speak to the frequency of resetting routes
I like that the easiest routes are not simple ladders, they even have some problems built in.
