John has done my taxidermy for over three decades. If you want your mount to look "alive" and be something to be proud of, then go no where else. John has a "gift"! Fur, feathers, or scales...it doesn't matter...YOU WILL LOVE HIS WORK! Others I have sent to him have raved about it as well!! I even took a mount done by another taxidermist before I found Authentic Taxidermy, and John made it live and look like it should have in the first place! I do not like to recommend businesses to others, but Authentic Taxidermy is one of the few exceptions I make to that rule! John was recommended by a friend of mine for waterfowl mounts. So I decided I would try him out, I took him 10 ducks thats right 10 and I'm glad I did !!! He did a fantastic job on the ducks and habitats. If you take him great birds your going to get great mounts. Thanks John excellent job!
