Do not book with this stylist (IG: @theteeashley / @braidzby.tee) or this salon unless you crave canceled day of appointments and not getting your deposit back.

I booked an appointment with this stylist a month in advance, paid a deposit, and received a confirmation email. Sounds professional, right? Wrong.

Fast forward to my appointment day—I show up, only to be told that she “forgot” and double-booked herself with her job as an LPN. She promised to reschedule me for the next day and offered a discount. Given that I was leaving for a trip in 48 hours, I accepted and asked her point-blank if she would not cancel again. Efficient service from Taliah! My hair looked beautiful for my birthday party that evening. The best part of the experience is that Taliah did not have me in the beauty salon all morning awaiting service like far too many stylists do! I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

WORST STYLIST EVER. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL.The day before my graduation I went to Taliah the salon owner for a Rich Bob. She rushed my hair style, DID NOT use any hair protection for my natural hair and the Bob came out very ugly. I could tell she did not wanna be there. Her hair and her appearance was giving very much she didn't comb it and she looked a mess like she rolled out bed an showed up for this 120$ that was wasted. The fact she will do her FRIENDS hair correctly but not give the same attention to customers new or old is ridiculous and quite frankly explains why she's the only one in her raggedy salon that honestly should be shut down.
