    It's a great facility! They treat me like a beloved grandfather. They don't withhold anything I need and don't give me anything I don't need. Non VA doctors together with insurance companies do both of those things. I have seldom gotten such respect and concern anywhere else.

    I had a very positive experience during my visit to the Cincinnati VA Medical Center. From the moment I arrived, the entire staff was welcoming, professional, and extremely helpful. Everyone I encountered treated me with respect and made the visit smooth and comfortable.

    I would especially like to recognize Barbara Yankson Akoto. She was outstanding. Dr. Yankson Akoto took the time to listen to my concerns, explained everything clearly, and made sure I understood my care. Her professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly stood out.

    Hard to give a review on this system, because it is a whole multifaceted system. Mostly theyre good people working there, but some people work there that i dont think would get abjob elsewhere.
    They dont care about what surgeries/procedures cost, but then cheap out on the prescription eyeglasses that they offet. As a va medical system, they get a solid 4 starts. In compared to a comparable civilian sysem, they’re a three star if generous:
