The amount of negative reviews seem odd to me. I had a wonderful time working with them to adopt our dog. It was probably helpful we were looking for a specific mix (beagle/hound). We rescued a sweet little dog Sweet Dream House pulled from a shelter that was going to be euthanized. Thank god they saved her life. Everyone we worked with was extremely helpful, offering us help when needed. Dogs are not perfect, and they need time to adapt and get used to their new home. It took probably close to 4 months to say our new dog is completely adapted and we know how to deal with all her little quirks. We got our sweet Buddy from them last winter and had a great experience. I applied and got a call from Sue the next day. She made sure we’d be a good fit for him as first time dog owners. They require a week long foster to do a little test run and even let us extend it to 2 weeks when my boyfriend was on the fence. Sue was very responsive to my texts and calls about some behavioral issues he had in the beginning (that completely went away after a few weeks of training).
