Just had one of the best haircuts I’ve had in a long time. AJ is a true professional—friendly, detail-oriented, and clearly passionate about their craft. He took the time to understand exactly what I wanted and made sure everything looked clean and sharp. The shop has a great vibe too: welcoming, clean, and comfortable without feeling rushed or overly busy. I left feeling fresh, confident, and already looking forward to my next visit. I went to Shine 3 hours before my engagement photos with hair down to my shoulders(scheduled haircut the day of). I showed a picture I got off the internet to AJ of what I wanted. We chatted the whole time he was working and he is a good conversationalist. I usually have to tell barbers to take more off but this was not the case. He did a superior job to anywhere else I would have gone and I’m pretty sure the haircut looks better than the one I showed him.

Tried Shane for the first time and got a great haircut. I'm particular about it, but he listened and took a lot of time on the cut, asked questions as he went. I appreciated it and may make the permanent switch since it's nice to have a good Madeira barber so nearby.
Make sure you bring cash or have cash apps; I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize he does not accept credit cards.
