Im a little biased about this place since I'm a member. But amazing place and amazing people. All kinds of tools that you just can't afford to have at home. Plus a wealth of knowledge that is freely shared. There are classes and events regularly. And on the weekends, someone is always around to help you with that project you've been watching on YouTube and finally are going to turn into your own.

Eclectic group of awesomely positive people most of who are an expert in one or more crafts. I can’t think of a makerspace tool/specialty that they don’t have. Also, they have an excellent guest policy so long as you have an escort, and they have an open house every Tuesday if you don’t know anyone to escort you.

Hive13 is an awesome makerspace that has woodworking, metalworking, glass working, fabric arts, photography, welding and much more in a community environment. Tuesdays are open houses if you are interested in joining. Hive13.org
