About Sun Valley
Sun Valley is a locally owned and managed boutique venue situated on 25 acres of lush greenery, offering an elegant backdrop for formal gatherings and casual celebrations. The modern, airy space features a neutral palette and handcrafted details, perfect for seated dinners and standing social events. The venue boasts both indoor and outdoor spaces, including a cozy private hideaway, an outdoor patio with a fire pit and rocking chairs, and a picturesque lake setting. Guests can enjoy stunning views and beautiful fall foliage, making it an ideal location for dream weddings. The venue provides fantastic customer service, delicious food options, and a team of friendly and helpful staff who truly care about making every event perfect. While the day of the wedding was perfect, the planning process was less smooth. The venue was beautiful, especially in the Fall, and very clean with professional staff. However, there was some difficulty working with the team during planning, mainly due to miscommunication about the contract and details like bartender tipping. The contract specified $2/guest for bartender tips, but there was confusion about whether a tip jar was included, which could have led to additional charges. The bride had to coordinate with the venue about removing the tip jar, only to find out it would cost an extra $2/guest if she requested its removal. This miscommunication was frustrating, especially given the overall high costs—over $21,000—including fees for the arch, onsite ceremony, alcohol, and service charges. Additional invoices sometimes had mistakes that needed correction, requiring significant effort from the bride and her wedding coordinator to resolve. Despite these issues, the venue’s accommodating parking and beautiful setting made the day special. The staff were quick to respond to inquiries, and the grounds are perfect for a wedding. For couples spending a significant amount on their wedding, clearer communication and transparency from Sun Valley would make the planning process much easier.
Finally got to photograph at Sun Valley yesterday and had the best experience! Everyone was so kind and amazing to work with! Can’t wait until I get to photograph here again!
After having to switch venues and find a new venue just two months before our wedding date , we were thrilled when we found sun valley ! They were super helpful and made sure our day was going to be special ! This past weekend we had a small microwedding of 30 people there and we had so much fun ! It was perfect to have a place where you can do photos , the ceremony and reception all in one . Thank you for making it the best weekend ever!
