Let me start by saying that we have the utmost respect for Dr. Bierly, who has always been professional and excellent in his care. However, we cannot recommend the office due to the experience we had with the receptionist. While she greets you with a smile, her attitude was dismissive, and she lacked the patience to address any concerns or questions we had.

I have been a customer of Dr. Bierly for 3 decades. He is top notch!! I have also left the practice 3 times because his office staff is wholeheartedly undesirable. Rude over the phone and in person. I wasn't shocked to see so many reviews about the unprofessional and problematic front office staff. Unfortunately, it makes me question Dr Bierly's competence in as much as he has retained this staff for so long. Shame, really. If eye care is your only concern, then make an appointment. If customer service matters, chances are, you will feel insulted before your visit is completed.

My daughter scratched my cornea and I was in extreme pain for a few hours. It was a Saturday and none of the eye doctors around me were open or available. Dr. Bierly was so kind and calm. He gave me drops, explained the situation and treated me so well. I appreciate him and his staff!!
