As the old proverb says, "cleanliness is next to godliness". This is sadly not something that is universally held. I, unfortunately, have previously held acquaintances with individuals who possibly never heard of a broom, mop or other cleaning supplies as their residences made me shudder in horror. I am constantly cleaning, as I believe in making my home always look its best along with comfortable. But still, sometimes you need to give your home a good cleaning by professionals. I had been thinking about hiring someone to do a deep clean of my rugs, floors and upholstery and then circumstances forced me to do just that. My cat must have eaten something that didn't agree with her stomach. One night she threw up several times including on two of my rugs and one of my chairs. When that happened, it clinched the need. I called Stanley Steemer and had them come give me an estimate. They came back with a price and I thought it was reasonable especially since they would be applying a scotch guard solution to all of them to make it easier to clean in the future and protect them from staining in case my cat has another bad night in the future. I agreed to the estimate and they set an appointment two weeks later to do the cleaning. The day of the cleaning, they came in, and did their thing. When they left my home was beyond clean, it was immaculate! Ahhh perfect! Sometime after my cat got sick again and threw up on the same carpet... this time i was able to clean it through normal methods and it didn't stain like the last time! The scotch guard worked! So worth it! Since Stanley Steemer is a nationwide company, I recommend anyone looking for a professional cleaning service to use them, wherever they may be.
