I began taking private lessons at Piano Preparatory School in 2022 while I was still in high school. As someone with ADHD, staying consistent with practice and organization can sometimes be a challenge, but my passion for music/piano has always been strong. My son Jonah expressed interest in learning to play guitar when he was about 6 years old so we signed him up for a group class at The PPS. Jonah enjoyed that class so he continued to take private lessons on classical and electric guitar. Fast forward a decade and he is now 16 years old and a boarding student in the Popular Music program at Interlochen Arts Academy. I highly recommend The PPS to any family looking for top-notch music lessons in the area.

What I most appreciate about PPS is that while it's very suitable for beginners or those looking to explore their musicality, it creates a solid foundation to continue performing in the future. The curriculum and training are targeted toward long term growth. Another aspect I always appreciated is... read full review
