My experience was amazing!! I arrived 20 minutes before my appointment time and was seen right away. My exams were very quick. I enjoyed the hybrid exam!! I went and picked out the frame I wanted and it took about 10-20 minutes to speak with a specialist. The specialist that I talked with was super friendly and just very knowledgeable she explained to me my results and the different options that are available for glasses. Way better experience than what I received at Walmart. I was able to get my glasses the same day. The glasses are a little pricey but I can finally see and that’s what matters!
My glasses where made incorrectly the first time. I requested lined bifocals. I got transition. They had to be re done. I am back again because the prescription is incorrect. I have gone back to my old glasses so I can see distance. They did get reading right. I came back to the store to see about having this issue address and was told I would have to wait over an hour to be seen due to low staff. I am on oxygen and my time is limited. I asked to make an appointment and was told no just come in. At this point I may just ask for a refund and go somewhere else.
I've gone to Stanton the last 3 or 4 times for my glasses and exam over the course of at least 6 years. The staff at my location has always been top notch and treats me well.
My most recent visit I was unhappy with the hybrid exam. They employ a lot of east Indian physicians. I have no problem with a person's ethnicity. What I do take issue with is the extremely thick and difficult to understand accent. The examiner made me feel rushed, she was not friendly, at times she was rude, rushing me thru the exam.
