I’ve been training here for years! Prof. Ante is amazing—patient, supportive, and never pressures students. Great mix of training partners, so you get to roll with people of all sizes and skill levels!

When I first started at Rio Pro, I was excited to try something new and out of my comfort zone. I thought I may test out what a few classes looked like, never with the intention of continuing Jiu Jitsu long term. It was not until I experienced the fullness of the community at Rio Pro that I found a place I couldn't imagine walking away from. Under the instruction of Professor Ante, I was given the confidence to train without expectations, and learn without judgement. Rio Pro is a very welcoming atmosphere. To me it is like a second family. I look forward to training everyday and could not imagine a better instructor, person, and mentor than Professor Ante. I came in with no prior knowledge and after two years I’ve grown a love for BJJ.
