Denise has been cutting (and before covid, coloring) my hair for over 30 years. She has consistently provided me with an age appropriate and always classy style. When I came to her with some crazy idea for a new style, she would be honest about if the style would work with my hair and face. And she spent the time to get to know me and what style would work best with my life. I appreciate her advice and friendship over the years. And hundreds of great haircuts.

I have been Denise’s client for probably 20 years or more because Denise is a master stylist. I have VERY fine hair which I wear shoulder length or longer. I have been getting light perms to give my hair some body. If I want my hair to be blown dry, sleek and straight, I can, or I can use a diffuser and go curly, or wear my hair in an updo. Denise is very knowledgeable about the chemical processes for hair. Everyone thinks that my hair is naturally curly; they have no idea that my hair is permed unless I tell them. On occasion, when Denise is unavailable, and I go to another stylist for a blowout or a style, the hair stylist does not always realize that my hair is permed. They always compliment the quality of the perm and the condition of my hair. In fact, not only is Denise a master at chemical processes, she cuts hair beautifully. Otheyr stylists have praised my haircut. At this time, my hair is not color treated. If the time comes, however, I would never trust anyone to do the job but Denise. I have seen her clients who have color treated hair, and the color looks completely natural. Denise is always researching products and carries the best ones in her salon to suit the clients’ needs. I have always been happy with the products Denise recommends and am especially pleased with the Davines line. Once, when a particular product that suited my hair perfectly was discontinued, Denise did some research and suggested a couple products for me to look at. I tried one of them and was completely satisfied. Because Denise’s salon is a single chair salon, you have her full attention. The atmosphere is very welcoming, and, if you need a bottle of water or a little sweet treat, those are available. Denise always asks how the hair has been; she listens to my answers and makes recommendations. She keeps detailed notes about my perm and haircut so that we can discuss any changes we might want to make for the next time. Denise is extremely committed to meeting her clients needs. Whenever I leave the salon, I get compliments on my hair, sometimes even from complete strangers. Another bonus to Denise’s salon is that she is committed to recycling and is a Certified Green Circle salon. If you want a precision cut, a chemical process, or a fabulous blowout, you won’t go wrong with DMAZ salon.

I rarely write reviews but I think Denise definitely deservse one. I am a mature women and I have been to many of the best salons in the beachwood, pepper pike area in my years, beginning in the 60's and 70's.
I began looking for a new stylist when I could not readily get a appointment with the gal I had been going to for years because she cut back her hours. I searched online and found Denise. I found out she had worked for a few of the better, well known salons I had gone to in the past. I totally appreciate her knowledge of a GREAT haircut.
Denise is a wonderful person that cares about her work and really takes the time to give you what you want. You never feel rushed. The salon is peaceful and very clean as she is really into sanitizing. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a new stylist and want a wonderful haircut that you can just blow out and it looks great. I receive many compliments in between cuts.

I was visiting NE Ohio when COVID first started. My short scheduled visit lasted 91 days & I desperately needed a haircut and color. I am VERY, VERY picky about my short haircut & tried not to panic while I searched google for a master stylist who used Davines products. (I only use Davines products!). When I saw her website & the pictures of the Davines retail products she carried, I knew I found my new hairdresser for when I visited Ohio. We chatted on the phone and we clicked! I made my first appointment & was delighted with the entire experience! The bonus was all of the many compliments I received from family & friends! Denise is a master stylist who specializes in natural looking hair color. She is a single operator/owner who uses a medical grade purifier at all times. That first appointment was 3 1/2 years ago. I have since moved back to Ohio and have appointments with Denise every 4 weeks for the last 2 1/2 years. I look forward to our time together & the great cut and color I receive at each and every appointment. Denise does not disappoint!

I have been with Denise for almost 20 years. I have been with her that long because she is good. She is a professional in every sense of the word. She takes educational courses to keep up with the latest news within her profession. Her salon is always clean and neat. Denise is always respectful to and of her clients.she listens to how I want her to do my hair and we laugh because the next appointment I usually ask her to do it the way the way she did it the appointment before, however she never says "I told you so " Another reason for 20 years--She is an expert at coloring.
