“They are very friendly and will take care of your pet very well. We have a laberdoole and a goldendoodle that we take there about every six weeks. They are very good to our pet kids and they do a great job grooming them. They also carry a variety of treats.“

“Trina provides the best grooming services I've had in a long time. I like that it's a smaller shop. My dog can't handle the loud and crazy high energy places around here that make her anxious. At A Brush Above, my dog can have friendly lower-energy playtime with the handful of other dogs there (about 5-10) and she's much happier for it. I can easily drop her off on the early morning and have a full day of daycare and grooming before I pick her up knowing she won't be caged in a loud warehouse environment all day. Highly recommend.“

We previously tried a different groomer and stopped going when they shaved off a chunk of my dog’s skin and didn’t bother to tell us. (Led to vet bills, medication, etc.) We really struggled to find someone we could trust.

We found Lori and have never been happier. She makes sure to meet each dog’s needs. She doesn’t rush to get it over with if a dog is nervous or needs a slower pace. She communicates effectively if she finds something that may need a vet visit, like an ear infection. She always listens to what you want done and can groom them as you request. She does such a great job and we are so happy that we found her. Even the dogs are excited and cooperative when we arrive. They clearly trust her, too. They walk in without hesitation.

“I don’t need a lavish set up to wash my pooch! This is a no frills pet wash and I come to this place often with my Doberman who is very suspicious of EVERYONE and EVERYTHING! It’s not very busy in the area, so nothing to “freak” her out. We get in and out quickly and stress free. I bring my own puppy pack with me that has soap, towels, nail clippers, etc in there. The only things I wish this place would think about providing is a rubber apron to keep me dry, and a small chain that would connect to the back of the tub so I can keep my dog from jumping off the table while I’m trying to wash her. Other than that that, this place has everything needed to get the job done!“
