This was my first time going to Square Records. Very old school throw back record store. I appreciated the hands off approach, no one pestered us on anything aside from wishing us a good morning upon entering. I found several records I had been looking for which was awesome! The prices were also very fair, especially if you're there in person. No shipping, no worries about records arriving in several pieces. That is always nice. The only reason I am only giving four stars is because the sorting of records could use some work. One of the best record shops in the state - great selection of both new and used. Owner is always there and extremely nice/helpful. Well organized. Have yet to stop in and leave empty handed. Quality of the used albums is FAR above average - fairly priced. You have to check it out!
I’ve been coming and going to Square Records for a year now. This place is by far my most favorite spot to get vinyls, and where most of my collection has come from. Often I find other stores to be less than organized, but not here. Plus, they keep prices extremely fair. All things considered the only thing I wish that was different would be if they stocked Inner and outer sleeves but not a big deal because of the plethora records to through is more then I can ask for.
